Proud history dating back to 1923
Sandringham East PS has a proud history in the Sandringham Community dating back to 1923 when moves were made in the district to establish a school at Sandringham East. The new school in Holloway Road consisting of a brick school house, a caretaker’s cottage and out houses was officially opened in July 1931, with 191 children in attendance.
Now in our 92nd year of education on this site. Our enrolments have grown and peaked in the mid-fifties at 568. Currently we have approximately 505 students enrolled. Documentation of our history was achieved for our 75th, 80th and 90th birthdays and is available on the link below.
